On a centrifugal pump, blades spin at a high angular velocity causing water to be driven outwards from the center, thus creating pressure in the fluid. The furthest point on the tip of the blade is 4in from the center. At the time t=3.5s the point is vertically above the center of the shaft. Determine the absolute acceleration of this point at that time if the shaft starts from rest and has the clockwise acceleration shown above.
