rotate simultaneously. The mechanism is pinned at point A, so the
center of gear F travels in a circular path around point A. Link
ED drives the mechanism, and because it is pinned at D and E, point D travels
in a circular path around E and not around A. Gear G must
therefore rotate to while point B moves in a circular arc around
