In one configuration of a planetary gear drive, the ring gear is held fixed and the sun gear drives, meaning it is attached to the motor. The planet carrier, (referred to in class as the "arm") is the driven gear. The planets rotate as necessary. Counting the number of teeth on the figure for each gear, determine the angular velocity of the driven gear when the driving sun gear is rotating at delta.deltadeltadelta rad/s CW. Measure any required dimensions off the figure printing in true scale. The units (e.g. inches or cm) all cancel and are therefore irrelevant.
